Candace Bergen, MP for Portage—Lisgar in Manitoba, has announced her resignation. On February 1st, 2023, Bergen posted the following video message on social media. Bergen sat as interim leader of the opposition after the resignation of Erin O’Toole until the landslide leadership win of Pierre Poilievre last summer.
