The National Post Reports that Pablo Rodriquez and the Liberal Party will not pass bill c-11 as amended by the senate. The senate passed bill c-11, commonly referred to as the online censorship bill, yesterday but with amendments. Liberals have expressed concern over some of those changes and claim that they will not pass the bill as amended.

This news comes after Liberals have delayed MAID for the mentally ill and have also scrapped amendments made to bill c-21 that would ban certain hunting rifles. One can only speculate as to the reasons for these back peddles, but many believe it is a reaction to plummeting polling numbers for the minority government.
Justin Trudeau will not be responding to these changes in legislation as he has booked a “personal day” on Friday.
