“no court should seek to control the possession of political views” – Judge Goodman
Judge overturns Justice Of The Peace bail revocation!
Rebel News reporter Sheila Gunn Reid reports Judge says to prosecutor – “Mr. Karimjee, we are not talking about inciting a riot and we are not talking about sedition. We are talking about mischief.”
Judge ruled that Justice of the Peace erred. A new bail hearing was started immediately.
Crown prosecutor Karimjee introduces a TikTok video accusing Lich of wanting to buy a church in Ottawa as evidence. Of course, the accusations in the video were neither substantiated nor relevant to a bail hearing.
After a quick recess, the judge orders Lich released “today”.
Judge: the likelihood to re-offend and the risk to the community remains low. Judge Goodman also noted that while two JPs sided with the crown, there were also two superior court judges that pointed out challenges to the crown’s case.
Judge Goodman, who presided over this hearing wasted no time in dispensing justice. There were no endless and unwarranted delays in hearing arguments or in rendering a decision. This is the way justice should work.
Judge Goodman has ruled in favor of freedoms and rights before, specifically in clearing a couple of wrong doing because they refused to play along with the idea of an easter bunny. In that case, a foster couple had their ward removed because they refused to tell the child that the easter bunny was real.
