CTV’s Don Martin came out and said it. It’s time someone sat Justin Trudeau down and had “the talk”.
So far, Trudeau has given no indication of resignation from the top job Canada has to offer. On that topic, Martin cites “ego and vanity”, and Canadians would seem to agree. The latest opinion polls put Trudeau’s Liberal Party behind the Conservatives in every age demographic as well as both genders.
Martin continues to point out that Trudeau fumbled the number one issue facing Canadians; that of housing affordability.
While his new housing minister threw out a “feeler” regarding limiting international students, while leaking the falacy that affordability would be the top priority for the recent cabinet retreat, the Trudeau Liberals have yet to announce ANY plans to tackle the issue. To quote Martin in the article, “In lieu of action, Trudeau tossed out the usual word salad.“.
Martin’s article wraps up with the idea that if Trudeau doesn’t go on his own, voters will send him packing.
